The internationally acclaimed New Brunswick Youth Orchestra returns to the Imperial Theatre for our first performance of the New Year on Sunday, January 14th. We invite everyone to come and experience our largest-ever (100+ member) NBYO ensemble in this dazzling live show.
The Imperial Theatre was the setting of the NBYO video—An Infinity of Young Talent, produced by Hemmings House, which was viewed by millions worldwide and garnered the orchestra an invitation to perform at the Viennese Masters Orchestra Invitational Festival in Carnegie Hall last June 16th. The show was a triumph for our members, faculty, and staff…so we can’t wait to bring them back to Saint John to express our appreciation, and to showcase the brilliance of New Brunswick Youth Orchestra musicians.
More than 80% of our current Sistema NB began their musical journey in our Sistema NB—free after school orchestral outreach programming, now operating in 10 communities across the province. Our Sistema NB Saint John Centre has operated continuously since 2012 and boasts a big representation among current NBYO members.
