What a fun evening in Fredericton! Thank you to Stephen Horsman, Minister of Families and Children, Fredericton Mayor Mike O'Brien, Gibson-Neill Memorial Elementary School Principal Sherry Norton-Graham, and all our other special invited guests for helping Sistema NB to officially open the new Fredericton Centre. Twenty-nine new students also celebrated receiving their new instruments at the Instrument Presentation Ceremony. Sistema NB Fredericton Centre is the 9th Sistema NB centre in the province.
Ceremony guests were treated to a performance by the Sistema NB Saint John Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Cesar Suarez and managed by Jon Fisher. Cesar and Jon are also teaching artists of Sistema NB Saint John.
Parents and dignitaries enjoyed songs by the new Frederictn Sistema NB ensemble, and the SJCO performance of the first movement from Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.
