The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra returns to the Tom Morrison Theatre at Fredericton High School for our second performance of the New Year on Sunday, February 11th. We invite everyone to come and experience our largest-ever (100+ member) NBYO ensemble in this dazzling live show.
Our Fredericton show is proudly sponsored by both MAPLE LEAF HOMES. We look forward to an enthusiastic Fredericton crowd to complement the MLH and other guests at the concert.
NBYO performed brilliantly at Carnegie Hall last June 16th in 2023 at the Viennese Masters Orchestra Invitational Festival...the only Canadian youth orchestra included in the Festival gala. The show was a triumph for our members, faculty, and staff…so we can’t wait to bring them back to Fredericton to showcase the excellence of this season’s ensemble.
More than 80% of our current Sistema NB began their musical journey in our Sistema NB—free after school orchestral outreach programming, now operating in 10 communities across the province. Our Sistema NB Saint Fredericton recently won recognition at the Canadian National Music Festival.
